2018 Upcoming Events and New Items

Events for 2018 are pretty much set, most of the shows taking part in the second half of the year. 

You can visit me in Bethlehem PA, Montauk NY, Columbia MD, Chester NJ, Dulles VA and Gatlinburg TN to name a few. Visit the full schedule at elegantearcuffs.com. It's a great opportunity to see the country and the network of fellow crafters always give me lots of laughs and when things get tough, shoulders to lean on.

When you find a good show, you want to go back, and so I want to ensure I have a new and yet still unique selection of creations; so I'm branching out beyond ear cuffs.  This will be a slow evolving process to give myself time to enhance new skills while I keep my ear cuff designs available.

Below is an example from the copper pendant design collection. The octopus was sculpted with polymer clay, then electroformed in copper (layers of copper build over the design using copper, a special solution and electrical current) and finished with a turquoise patina to complete the design.

Shopping Opportunities to buy handcrafted Ear Cuffs at Events in 2017

I'm currently enjoying beautiful August weather at the Bethlehem, PA Musikfest in the Handwerkplatz.  Here's a pic of a beautiful young lady who purchased a pair of my rainbow ear cuffs with 14K gold filled wire, sterling silver beads and Swarovski crystals.

Ear cuffs are a great gift to give as they're easy to mail and all my designs come in a gift box made from 100% recycled materials here in the USA. The drop ear cuffs are in bigger boxes and are wrapped with ribbon as a finishing touch.

Oktoberfest and Ear Cuffs

I'm excited to be a part of the Oktoberfest in Bethlehem, PA which starts this coming weekend, Friday, Sept 30th - Sun October 2nd and Friday Oct 7th - Sun October 9th.

I've been working on some new designs, especially to promote the Autumn colors, and am getting ready for the Holiday buying season.  Here are a few of my new designs:

Drop design in sterling silver and 14K gold filled beads

Made with Freshwater Pearls and Czech crystals and leaves on sterling silver wire

A touch of Autumn Colors

Of course, no pierced ears are needed. They're comfortable to wear and a protective coating prevents the sterling silver and polished copper from tarnishing, and there's no skin sensitivity.
